Clarissa E. Kearns

Clarissa graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College in 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies and Spanish. She is a graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law where she placed in the top four percent of her graduating class. She has been selected for inclusion on the 2011 "Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars" list, an honor reserved for only 2.5% of lawyers in Northern California.

While at Golden Gate University School of Law, she was a member of the Environmental Law Moot Court team, and was a quarter-finalist in the 2006 National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition of Pace Law School.

She received the Witkin Award in Appellate Advocacy, the Witkin Award in Community Property, the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) Award in Writing & Research, and the CALI Award in Land Use Regulation. She was the recipient of the 2006 Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in Environmental Law.

Clarissa speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

Clarissa is licensed to practice law in the State of California, and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.
